[COVERED] EXO on MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2013!

On the Sunday night of 8 September, approximately 15, 000 fans gathered at Surf Beach @ Sunway Lagoon in Malaysia to catch MTV’s annual event, MTV World Stage 2013. The concert featured a spectacular all-male line up, including Robin Thicke, Far East Movement, Joe Flizzow and last but not least, EXO.

Not even the unpleasant weather could dampen the mood of the crowd, particularly fans of the 12 charming “wolf-boys” – EXO. When the boys, dressed in school uniforms, appeared on stage with a stunning intro dance performance – fans could no longer hold their excitement – loud cheers and screams continued to filled the air as EXO went on to perform the title track of their 1st album, ‘Wolf’.

“Hello, Malaysia! We are One, We are EXO!” – EXO greeted the crowd, followed by a round of self-introduction. MTV World Stage marked EXO’s second visit to Malaysia and they were certainly thrilled to perform in Malaysia again – the boys have made their first visit to Malaysia earlier this year, in January, for an awards show.

“I love Malaysia! It’s such a beautiful country.”, “When I say X, you say O!” – The boys never failed to make the crowd go wild and explode into screams of excitement once again.

EXO moved on to perform ‘History’ and ‘365’ – a lively upbeat track from their latest album – bringing a change in the atmosphere. Unlike ‘Wolf’ and ‘History’, EXO danced freely to the song, walked around the stage and interacted with their fans as they sang. EXO concluded their performance on MTV World Stage with their recent hit ‘Growl’, the title track of their repackaged album.
